Dear Partner,
Belated New Year greetings from all of us here at Freshdew. I should start by apologising for this being my first letter this year. I, actually, was so eager to talk to our partners this year that I began penning down my thoughts for my first letter in the New Year as early as mid December. What an irony that my first letter is being written today.
Behind this unusual delay is a victory story. On the 5th of January, I experienced a fall in my study at home and hit my head on the floor. That fall had the potential to be fatal but Jesus was present to eliminate any worst-case scenarios. He took care of everything already at the Resurrection. The enemy came late. My work, doing what He has called me to do, is not done yet. Thank God for His mercy. I have been on a healing journey as some parts of my temple were challenged but are undergoing speedy restoration in Jesus Name. I know you stand with me to receive full restoration with nothing missing and nothing broken, and no smell of smoke. (Ecclesiastes 3:14, Isaiah 26:3, Daniel 3:25-27) Praise God!! Hallelujah!! We have the victory in Christ Jesus!
Friend, 2019 is a phenomenal year. God prophetically told us that it is A NEW DAY! I believe that so strongly, and understanding the power and connection of partnership, I believe that the word applies to every Freshdew partner too.
This was the prophetic Word:
New Day
New things
New realms
Harvest time is now
The fullness is here and now
I see big ripe fruits heavy
Falling freely to the ground
Fruits that were once little seeds
I see big drums
Overflowing with luxurious wine
Wine that was once water
I see a waterfall crashing over a cliff
To the land below as rushing rivers
Land that was once arid and dry
I see a widow woman
Distributing abundance to the prophet’s ministry
A widow who was once down to her last meal
New Day
New things
New realms
Harvest time is now
The fullness is here and now
I see power in the feet of
God’s people As they prance with strength in high places
Feet that were once weak and lame
I see a bright light
Reaching into dark hidden places never before reached
Light that was once hidden under a bushel
I see a city high up on a hill
And all can see the glory therein
A city that once was unknown
I see tangible things
Things you can touch and see
Things that were once visions and dreams
New Day
New things
New realms
Harvest time is now
The fullness is here and now
Am I not the One who makes all things new?
All things are new
The old is done away with forever
New things
Lord, I hear you say:
New things
Inspired by Me
Spoken by Me
Provided for by Me
Empowered by Me
Just for you, My child
Just for those I have sent to you
New things Lord,
hear me say:
New things
Envisioned by me
Spoken by me
Believed for by me
Prepared for by me
All for me from You, My Father
All for those You have sent to me
You say
Then I say
Two-edged sword
Ushering in
The New Day
With New things
In New realms
Harvest time is now
The fullness is here and new
Change is here
Godly Change is now
Says the Spirit Of God
Change within My will
Change within My Word
And it’s all from Me.
Hallelujah!
I believe this prophecy has whet your appetite for the goodness lying in store for you this 2019. Determine that this is not an ordinary year. The truth is this: there are some things in your life that have been waiting for 2019 before they show up. So, get ready for those big, heavy low hanging fruits waiting for you to reach out and pluck them. When opposition wants to paint a different picture, do what Paul told his son in the Lord, Timothy to do.
18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,
1 Tim 1:18-19
One good way to do this is to use your mouth and wield the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God) in the face of any Goliath that dares to contend with what God has spoken about you this year.
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints —
19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6:13-20 NKJV
It is interesting that Paul’s prayer request is in itself an example of the key to our standing and using the sword of the Spirit. Regardless of how many times his opening his mouth had gotten him into trouble, his prayer was for utterance and the boldness to still open his mouth. For him to pray for boldness, it means the circumstances that faced him would usually elicit a response of timidity and cowardice. Yet, he wanted to defy all that and he wanted boldness instead.
That is what young David did with his mouth in the face of Goliath while the rest of Israel whimpered and whispered.
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
1 Samuel 17:45-47 NKJV
It was at this point that David won the battle. He sent forth the Word boldly and the power behind his words would have stunned Goliath even before the stone hit him.
6 “You have heard;
See all this.
And will you not declare it?
I have made you hear new things from this time,
Even hidden things, and you did not know them.
7 They are created now and not from the beginning; And before this day you have not heard them, Lest you should say, ‘Of course I knew them.’
8 Surely you did not hear, Surely you did not know; Surely from long ago your ear was not opened. For I knew that you would deal very treacherously, And were called a transgressor from the womb.” Isaiah 48:6-8 NKJV
God expects you to open your mouth at every opportunity and speak, releasing the power of His infallible Word, and thus, establishing your new day. You can never enjoy the fullness of the new day you have not spoken about.
Friend, this 2019, make it your NEW DAY. Personalise it. Open your mouth boldly and prophesy along with the prophets and step into your new day, full of new things in new realms.
