Dear Partner,
I don’t know how to start this letter because I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself! The right thing to do is to apologise for the letter coming late. No excuses, but I have been overwhelmed adjusting to my new schedule, which in itself is the cause of this excitement! Okay, before you get confused and begin to pray certain kind of prayers for me, let me explain.
Since the month of March, we have been declaring the New Day Vision for Freshdew.
Our New Day Vision:
FRESHDEW BEGINS DAILY TV ON FAITH TV THIS YEAR.
2 Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV
2 And Jehovah answereth me and saith: ‘Write a vision, and explain on the tables, that he may run who is reading it.
3 For yet the vision [is] for a season, and it breatheth for the end, and doth not lie, if it tarry, wait for it, for surely it cometh, it is not late.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 YLT
2 And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. [Hebrews 10:37,38.] Habakkuk 2:2-3 AMP
Well, the appointed time has come!! Today, July 1, 2019, we aired our first daily TV program. As part of the faithful Circle of Partners, you must be as excited as I am. We have started and there is no going back!!! Adventures of faith always end in victory.
There is a mentality we must consciously cultivate to experience victory in every endeavour of our lives, and that is what I want to share with you this month.
It is called the mentality of an owner. Simply put: Are you an owner or a tenant? When you operate in your sphere of influence and existence – are you an owner or a tenant?
According to the Chambers Dictionary:
– An owner is a possessor, proprietor, one who owns (to own: belonging to one, to acknowledge as one’s own, to claim as one’s own: to allow to be true).
– A tenant is one who has under certain conditions a temporary possession of any place.
To get it more clearly, I would like us to first read this Scripture.
16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men.
Psalms 115:16 NKJV
When it says, “He has given”, what does it mean? It means just that – that He has given. We have access as owners to the earth and ALL of its FULLNESS!
So again, I ask: Are you an OWNER or a TENANT?
28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis 1:28 NKJV
The original plan of God has always been to have mankind in a place of ownership.
– An owner takes what belongs to him without pleading or begging. A tenant has to take permission (and runs the risk of being turned down) before he can lay claim to anything.
– An owner sees what needs to be fixed in his sphere of influence and does not hesitate making an investment necessary to put things right because he understands that it is not an investment lost – it accrues to him eventually. A tenant will not spend more than necessary for he always lives in fear of being asked to leave and therefore losing his investment.
– An owner has the liberty to bring all kinds of people from all walks of life into his sphere of existence to enable them share in his abundance. The choice remains his. A tenant has limitations on what he can do in his sphere of existence for he has to conform to the expectations of others; for certain kinds of visitors may offend other tenants or violate the terms of his agreement with his landlord.
Friend, these are just three points (there are many more) showing the difference between an owner and a tenant. I’m so excited already as I “see” even more clearly the privilege of being called an owner by God my Father. What about you?
Now the key is this… An owner is not identified just by how much he has, for haven’t you seen a wealthy tenant before? No matter how wealthy a tenant seems to be, he is still subject to a quit notice! The place to establish yourself as an owner is in your mind – in your mentality – and this will be seen in your speech and your actions and eventually in who you are.
As you walk into your New Day, both on Freshdew and in your personal life, do it with the mentality of an owner. Don’t be like the older brother of the prodigal son who was an owner but did not know it and therefore did not think like one, did not speak like one, did not act like one. What a tragedy! That is not our portion. I want a Circle of Partners who will without arrogance, claim their rights in the authority that comes with ownership. Partners who will not live in fear of receiving a quit notice on their lives, on their wealth, on their health, on their joy, on any aspect of the goodness of God in their lives! I declare, by faith, that you are an owner and you know it! Amen! So be it!
Enjoy my gift: Life Lessons From Joshua’s Take Over (Part Four) in which I taught on the Logos word and the Rhema word. I trust it will be a blessing to you this season.
